Medical Director

Dr. Christina Rettig was born and raised in the Los Angeles area before completing her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She happily returned to Southern California to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences where she spent time as a student at Westminster Veterinary Group and later received her DVM degree in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Rettig completed a one year rotating small animal internship at Pet Specialists of Monterey on California’s Central Coast. In her spare time, Dr. Rettig enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her two pet rabbits: Watson and Cricket.

Dr. Tara Drake-Hueston
Dr. Tara Drake-Hueston

Veterinarian

Dr. Tara Drake-Hueston is a graduate of Princeton University and Tufts’ Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Although Tara enjoys veterinary practice with a variety of small and large animals, she has a special interest in exotic animal medicine, shelter medicine, and acupuncture. Dr. Drake-Hueston is a member of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Drake-Hueston was born and raised in Arizona in the company of livestock and many, many dogs. She enjoys hiking, camping and observing wildlife, and has enjoyed participation in wildlife projects over the last few years. She is a sculptor and comic book collaborator in her free time, and enjoys volunteering at spay and neuter clinics and working with Westminister Animal Group Services (“WAGS”). She loves her wonderful WAGS dog, “Conan.”

Dr. Erica Foster

Veterinarian

Dr. Erica Foster is a Southern California local who graduated from St. George’s University Veterinary School and completed her clinical year at University of Georgia. Prior to veterinary school, she received her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. She also graduated from the Exotic Animal Training and Management program at America’s Teaching Zoo in Moorpark, CA. This experience training and caring for a wide variety of exotic species is what made her pursue exotic animal medicine, although she loves seeing dogs and cats as well! Dr. Foster also completed an acupuncture certification through Chi University while she was in vet school. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Foster loves to spend time outdoors, traveling to experience new cultures, and giving her cat, Maverick, lots of cuddles.
