On February 10, Zero thought it was such a nice day outside that she wanted to take a little stroll through the neighborhood. She quietly slipped out, unnoticed, and headed out for some fresh air. Unfortunately, as she was crossing a street, she was hit by an oncoming car and badly injured one of her front legs. She was rushed to Westminster Veterinary Group where she was immediately stabilized and placed on pain medication. The doctors discovered that her front leg had to be amputated and that luckily, it was the worst of Zero's injuries. Aside from some road rash, Zero is recovering wonderfully. She's still so full of spunk, you can barely tell she was ever in an accident (and one leg short).
