My Pet

Phoenix is my 9 year old big gray bun. He survived the Escondido Animal Shelter fire (thus his name) when he was 11 months old. I read about the fire, and saw that the San Diego House Rabbit Society needed volunteers for fostering displaced animals... well, Phoenix came home to stay :-)

Phoenix is omniverous. He will eat anything. Literally. He has eaten cabinets, doors, drywall, linoleum, towels, you name it. He doesn't actually consume it, he just destroys it. My landlord says he will not likely rent to anyone with a bunny again, and I cant say I blame him! But Phoenix is a big sweet boy, so all is forgiven, of course.

He is a house bun, and has his own personal room.
