Dakota is the best dog ever. As a replacement for another Pom who passed, I purchased Dakota to help my male Chihuahua with the grieving. She just stepped up and took over, even though MacIntosh wanted nothing to do with her for the first 2 weeks. She prevailed by cleaning his ears and face. They both go "turbo" around the front room and share a mutual love of a tug toy. Dakota is so mild mannered that when I first brought home my son at 10 days old, she laid by him, protecting him and now thinks he's her baby...well he's 5 years old now and nothing has changed between them. He calls her Kota Boda!!! As you can imagine they are inseperable. Everyone who has had the pleasure of being in contact with her, be it the Vet or her groomer say she's a wonderful, happy, sweet dog. I of course have to agree!!!!! Isn't she beautiful?
