Sophie disappeared from her home on Christmas day last year leaving her parents very worried. When she was finally found three days later, she wasn't putting any weight on her hind legs, which caused concern that she may have been hit by a car. Her parents brought her in to Westminster Veterinary Group where, after an examination and x-rays, the doctors determined that Sophie had a broken rear leg and would need orthopedic surgery to repair it. Currently, Sophie is under strict cage rest and is recovering like a champ. According to our technicians, she has been a pleasure to treat. She's so easy-going, she purrs through most of the procedures performed on her and if you're lucky, she will even drool on you.
Sophie has been doing so well that our doctors finally decided that it was time for her to go home. It was such a treat for us to take care of her that we are going to miss seeing her everyday!
