Missed By: Karann
I walked into a room filled with cats and kitties. I looked at the faces all whe while hearing one voce louder than all the others. I looked to my left and there I saw a small big eyed, big eared, big head, loud voced kitty raching through the bars of his cage. I walked over to him and leaned in and he gently took my face and pulled it near him. I fell in love at that moment.
On the drive home this little kitty did not stay silent for one moment. It took me about 15 minutes to realize his name, Talker.
He shared the next 11+ years of his life with me. Talker was a silly cat always doing something to make me smile. He loved boxes. Talker had to inspect every box that came into the house no matter it's size. From a ceral box to a refrigerator box Talker had to get inside it and see for himself.
I do not cry over the loss of my beloved Talker but smile because of the love and joy he gave me. Any tears I shed are for myself and selfish. I will miss Talker to be sure but I am glad for all the time we shared and the love we have.
