My Pet

Malibu has mounds of energy so we decided one day, as my arm tired of throwing the ball countless times, that she needed a playmate!

I was currently working at the Irvine animal shelter and stopped dead in my tracks when I passed "Pickle's" kennel. He was the silliest looking thing I'd ever seen! I wasn't even quite sure if I liked how he looked, but I'm a sucker for a silly face! So after seeing him taken out a few times by prospective adoptive owners, I began to realize I hoped they all hated him... because I truly loved him!

Shortly there after, I took him home and gave him a much needed bath. He learned not to lift his leg to items in the house and not to hump is little sister, he learned how to walk respectfully on a leash and not to mouth at people, even if he's scared.

We are exposing him to all sorts of environments and he's just proving to be a wonderful little lap dog and companion for our Malibu.
